Welcome to Path (accessible at yourpath.io). By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
Path is a language learning platform that provides progress tracking, assessment tools, and exercise generation for students and educators. The platform is operated by Daniel Fernandez Barreiros (contact@yourpath.io).
2. User Accounts
To use Path, you must create an account through our authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Path only for its intended educational purposes. You may not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (b) use the platform to distribute harmful or inappropriate content; (c) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
Certain features of Path require payment, processed securely through our payment provider. Pricing, billing cycles, and refund policies are displayed at the time of purchase. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize recurring charges where applicable.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, exercises, and materials generated by Path are the property of Path. You may use generated materials for personal educational purposes but may not redistribute them commercially without written permission.
6. Speaking Exercises & Audio
Path offers speaking and pronunciation exercises that require microphone access. When you use these features, your audio is recorded temporarily in your browser and sent to a third-party AI service for transcription and pronunciation assessment. Audio recordings are not stored on our servers — they are processed in real time and discarded after the assessment is complete. You may revoke microphone access at any time through your browser settings.
6. Third-Party Integrations
Path integrates with third-party services for authentication, payments, and calendar synchronization. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms of service.
7. Limitation of Liability
Path is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@yourpath.io.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
